We'll see...we'll see. Personally, I don't care about conferences or schedules. As it is, there are only about ten schools that have an actual chance at a Title each year. The rest are just screwed, but no one will say that out loud. Had USC, Oklahoma, and Auburn all ended up with one regular-season loss, I'd have loved to see a Utah-Boise State Title game. :-) Teach those mucky-mucks a thing or two and watch all the big boys bitch and scream about how neither one "deserved" a title shot. If it's not settled on the field, then AFAIC, any team is just as deserving as another.
I hope that tomorrow's game is as close or closer than tonights.....it might accelerate the death of the BCS. A true champion can be decided where it should be...on the field instead of in a smokey back room where deals can be made...for example Texas' pleading to get into the Rose Bowl.
A simple playoff system using the top 4 or 8 teams...take an extra couple of weekends and stop all this stupid ranting from year to year.
Playoffs now!!!
