The bills, ravens, broncos, jets, and jags are fighting it out for the last two AFC playoff spots.

The vikes, rams, seahawks(Has clinched a spot), saints, and panthers are fighting it out for the last two NFC spots.

Gonna be a great day of NFL football.

Big game for your panthers today. The saints will be tough. Like the panthers, they're playing much better than they were earlier in the season.

You know, the claim could be made that the NFC south is the toughest division in the conference.

Anyone what to gues how many touchdowns Peyton will throw today? I mean before Tony puts him on the sidelines.

I'd also like to see Edge get enough yards today to take the rushing title.

Last year, Manning and the colts obliterated the Denver defense.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings any to see Dungy and the colts win the SB. IMO...Dungy got shafted in Tampa.

BTW...David Greene, senior qb at Georgia, has broken several of Manning's SEC records.

The only thing interesting thing is New England is if they will use Corey Dillon much to day. He has a performance clause in his contract for 1600 yards running, and he is 81 yards short right now. (Worth 300+K)
If it were me, I'd make a deal with my offense line to spring me a few times and buy them all Rolexes :)

"The saints will be tough."

You betcha. At 7-8 both teams are a lot better than their records. I would love to see the "second half of the season" stats for the whole NFL and see how the teams stack up across the board.

And while I am sure NO is no less deserving than the Panthers, it would be cool to see ANY team that started 1-7 make history and make the playoffs.

Go Cardiac Cats!

If he does get those 81 yards, he'll have earned them.

Buffalo's front seven is tough.

The Iggles' hope for a Super Bowl ring went down in flames along with the ankle of Terrell Owens. Always the bridesmaid; never the bride.

Same here. John Fox has my vote for coach of the year.

It sure wasn't a good omen to see the rams come out in their first drive and just run it down the eagle's throats ten straight plays.

Excellent post!!!

Looks like the Steelers may take the loss to protect key players. Can't say I blame them, but I don't like to lose.

What was I thinking?

New England is playing the niners. He should have those 81 yards by halftime.

Edge has a real shot. Curtis Martin is up against St. Louis and the Alexander is up against Atlanta.

I figure he needs about 150 years today to get the title.

BTW..do you think Tony will keep Peyton in long enough to get 556 yards passing to break that record as well?

OK, that's probably asking too much.

I have also found it interesting this week that suddenly some people are coming around to the notion that the Colts defense isn't as bad as everyone claims.

Sure, they still give up a lot of yards between to 20s, but have one of the best red zone defenses in the league. The are also leading the league in turnover ratio, and have two of the top three in sacks, as well as a bunch with five ore more. And they are 14th in terms of points allowed.

I'd like to see a better system for ranking defenses than total yards allowed. The NFL needs a ranking system similar to the Passer Ratios. Factor in everything
