An enviable setup for a life... hope she's happier now too. :~D
They're strange people. I've never figured out if she is snooty, or just an extreme introvert. If you run into her somewhere, she usually doesn't speak. Who knows if she is happy.
I kind of forced our meeting. Like I said you see her out riding all the time. Back when I had my first horse and was having problems and wanted to get some help, I figured the place to go was someone who rode alot. So I called her. She said she didn't fix problem horses, but her husband did, (they were still married at the time). Make a long story short, they said the horse I had had never really been broke, she came out of a dude string, and I needed something more broke. We sold her and bought an Arab from them. I got to ride with her for a week before I brought him home. I still remember/use alot of the tips she gave me. She's very good with a horse. I've often wished she was more approachable. I actually think she is more rigid with her horses then I am:). She's the one that taught me to be careful about treating them as if they were a pet like a dog would be. She made so much sense to me that it stuck.
