DJ and I bought 3 round bales and put them on our trailer, we got the first two off by hand (and feet pushing) but the last one was impossible.we just left the trailer and hay in the field : )

To me, that's the best way to feed round bales, other than inside a run in shed with a hay ring around it. Where I used to live, I'd keep 2 rolls on a 16' trailer out in the pasture all the time. The mares loved it. It keeps it up out of the mud. They would clean the trailer off about every 3 weeks. Of course they waste alot, but it's cheaper so I didn't care.

Those round bales are a pain to mess with if you don't have a big tractor. To be honest, though, it does scare me. You can have a horrible accident with a tractor if you aren't paying attention to what you are doing. I try not to let my mind wander when I'm mowing with it or moving heavy bales.
