"he no answer" ???? too much land before time movies for me~ LOL
I was hoping he would come sooner, but he didnt seem to think he needed too. I hope that if she does foal, she is ok. She has been laying down a lot and is "off" her hay completly.

Like Hair says, the vet is the expert. Now that he's coming, just keep an eye on her and say a couple of prayers.

Well, mares and foals can come through that, she just may need help because if she's lost the muscling in her abdomen, she can't give the contractions she needs to deliver alone and will need the vet there.

It may not be this... I want to stop short of running with this idea like it's been decided.
