Good morning, Home from work this morning. After spending 45 minutes on the road and getting about 6miles, I got a call from a friend further down the road than I was - road finally closed another 10miles down due to accidents. I was hung up in one that involved three cars, jaws of life being used on one, further down, 17car pile up and care flight on the way. Another friend, caught in the middle, finally turned around and headed home after two hours - and is currently trying to get past an accident between where she is and home.

Have I mentioned I hate winter :(

You hate winter? I would never have guessed! : )
I hope you dont mind, but I have a question concerning Sugar our very pregnant mare. Yesterday she laid down most of the day, apart from eating, and looking at her today (with our farrier and trainer), she looked like she had a tire in her belly. That is the best way of describing the shape. If look at her from backside on, you can see a definate line going through the middle, seperating the "tire" in two. Have you seen this before in a very pregnant mare?
