Do you/your horses get jittery riding that close to the hot wire? Do you turn it off while riding, in case they accidentlly touch it?

I think about it, but the horses seem fine where we were for those pics. We are often following paths that are their own paths through the woods they've been on many times before. There is one spot I am careful to keep my feet tucked in, and warned ecrubh to tuck his feet in, because it is narrow between the fence and a tree. You can see the tree behind me here, and the worn path.

I don't turn it off, they know the fence is there, and wouldn't get any closer to it than their comfort zone if I asked them to. I am more concerned in that spot of getting my foot hooked in the field fence that is on the bottom half, than I am the electric. The only wire that is actually hot there is the top white one. They aren't ~all~ hot. I know that, but they don't.

I worry about falling into one of the T-posts if Bay tripped or something.

We all have things we fear, I guess, that depends on our experiences.

My farrier was suppose to be here 15 minutes ago:(. I should be able to get 2 rode today. I got mixed up about the vet appointment. It is tomorrow. So I have all day here, and it's suppose to top out at 70:)
