I bet I'm not the only one who would love to see some pics.
Be careful on your walk, it sounds really dangerous.
We have our own weather problems. The record high here is 115 or so and that was a year that we had over 100 degree temps every day for 3 months straight and most of those were in the 110 range. Old people were dropping like flies that year. It was 1980 if anyone would like to look it up. It's interesting reading.
I was looking at your pictures again.
Do you/your horses get jittery riding that close to the hot wire? Do you turn it off while riding, in case they accidentlly touch it?
I've always disliked getting close to hot wire. I had a horse jump out from under me one time. The only thing I could figure was he suddenly noticed we were close to hot wire. He/I didn't touch it, I think he "just" saw it. That was one of the times I got hurt, all four fingers on one hand got bent back clear to my wrist, it felt like. Didn't break it, but the palm and back of my hand turned black. Really hurt.

If we're going to get snow here, I always want it to snow alot, maybe not as much as you have:), but more then we usually get. The few times we've gotten alot it was fun. Of course after a day or so, especially having livestock it gets old. I guess the most we have ever gotten at one time here is 10 inches, and that's only been a handful of times my whole life.
