That is really cool, that your daughter gets to do that.

Thanks Becky - I feel very blessed - I really wanted my kids to learn everything they could about caring for their horses - not just how to throw on a saddle and ride. My friend has taught them how to worm them and figure out why they do certain things. I think it makes them better owners and they enjoy it, too.

Hi, Sounds great! I think if anything my daughter is teaching me! I wish I had had the opportunity at her age to learn to ride, etc. There is so much more to learn than can be taught at school. That is one reason why we have so many animals. Feeding etc is something the children enjoy together.
