We had bees a couple of weeks ago. Horses and bees:'(
I read that three times as "We had beers a couple of weeks ago. Horses and beers." I almost responded: Hey, that's great! It's warm enough to ride and have a cold beer at the same time!

The dogs, Rebel the Blue Heeler and Lugar the Lab. Rebel had to wear his coat..lol

We got about 5 inches of snow, and it has stopped now. Waiting on the next hit they say we are going to get.

LOL I don't think that would be a good combination for me or mine. I would be sleeping in the saddle after a few sips and Sarah Lee would probably want a nap too:')

I didn't get to ride today. Going back this evening or in the morning. They were cleaning stalls and the mare and foal in the round pen, a class in the arena, and a crazy ass horse running loose all over the place. Too crowded for our comfort.

I did do a lot of ground work though. I also practiced Sarah Lee on leading without rope guidance. She started and stayed with me just fine until... I know if I can fast walk she can too but I had trouble getting her to speed up. She got to where she would stop with me but won't back up without "encouragement" She just looks at me. A couple of times she put one foot back but that was about it. She kept moving over to the grass when I would go to groom her right side. Popping her belly not too effective so I would go back around and push with my thumbs on her ribs. After a few times she would get back by herself before my thumbs made contact. We are making progress I guess though:')
