Waiting for a mare to foal is so nerve wracking. It's kinda like waiting for Santa Clause to come. You KNOW you're gonna get something really good, but you just don't know WHEN, and as soon as you go to bed it'll HAPPEN.

I think I read somewhere that horses were one of the few animals that could consciously delay birth until they were in a safe environment. The fact that they allow humans to be there at all says alot about how much they trust us. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the best for you all!
