Look forward to your snow pictures Cindy!.... we northerners haven't seen any of it this year yet! And it isn't just down here in the lowlands... the ski resorts are dreadfully shy on snow, many of the runs not even open yet. They are usually open for Thanksgiving in a good year, but certainly by Christmas. This will mean shortage this summer for Seattle reservoirs. It'll be uncool to have a green lawn or a clean car.

After our talk of working on ground manners, ecurbh and his mare Cyn went out today and did a little ground work.

Followed by the fan club....

After that was over a good roll.... She'll drop right in front of you as soon as you take the halter off.... really unusual ;~D

And then she went over to take it out on the pony.

Those curb chains are the best tool I have found yet. You don't even have to use them. They know they are there:')

How unusual about her dropping like that but she's so photogenic. You get some great shots.

After Sarah Lee was cooped up a few days they were all feeling good out in the pasture. The trainer and I watched her walk over to another horse and slowly turn and postion her butt and then half heartedly kick at another horse. It was like she had to set up and I know it took a couple of minutes. The other horse just as funny. She took her own time getting out of the way and didn't really jump but just eased out of the way. The trainer laughing. She said we were watching the lowest two in the pecking order. :') As usual, I didn't have my camera with me.
