Oh, ok. Well I counted to ten because I didn't think I was supposed to start her on anything else or give her any attention during that time frame.
I think the 10 second thing that has been talked about here, I'd never heard it before, is that you should correct bad behavior within 10 seconds of the bad behavior occuring. Not wait 10 seconds after it, before doing something else. I could be wrong, like I said I've never heard that before.
I do think bad behavior needs an immediate response, but if you let a horse stop, IMO, stopping is what they want to do, so even if it is a short stop, they won the battle. JMO, tho of course.
