To be honest, I guess I was reading all the "I don't mean to offend" posts about not taking him off his meds, like anyone who would suggest such a thing was lacking in compassion for a horse. I'm sorry if I came across harsh.

Nope. I know you wouldn't ever want me just riding him lame. You just wonder if he really would be lame, and I really don't know.

My post wasn't meant like that. I didn't want Hair to be offended by thinking that I who have limited horse experience was trying to tell her who has, what to do. Sometimes I see thngs that I have had experience with in other aspects of my life that may fit horses too but am reluctant to say anything though since I don't feel I have earned my stripes yet and that it's better just to "listen":')
As to the wormer tube we have one at the stables but I pass on it. I can get it in myself and I worry about aspiration with it.
