Sure would be good to get the score cards. Dressage is that way, they comment on each maneuver and what was good or bad about it. Much better than other kinds of horse shows.
I wouldn't be surprised if some judges have a pet peeve that others don't. At least in this event, you get to know what it was that made the difference in scores.
That's one reason to hang on to those cards too. If you go to enough rides, you'll probably be judged by a judge you've been judged by before. If you have your cards, you can look at it and get ideas on what this judge likes.
