Well you know, talking of high hands. There was something in that program I wasn't sure was right. She said, and this part is OK, that for the slow training work she uses split reins. Barrel reins too short. I agree. But she also said that with split reins you "could" get your hands up higher??? I thought if you got your hands up as high as she was showing you lose some of the action of your bit. Now for a run, she said keep your hands down in front of the swells, almost resting on their withers.
