I got a lot of those looks the day the vet came to look at him. I swear ,if when I have some knowledge I will NEVER look at a new horseperson with that look.
We promise you no dumbass looks!
But we are all opinionated, so we may still overload you with information ;~D
Isn't that funny? I have told myself I too hope I never treat a new person the way I have been treated by some of the "cowgirls" around my place. In all fairness though some really nice people have helped me but it's just that clique. I think I'm finally starting to get passed it though. Maybe they are impressed that I keep getting back on. Who knows? I wanted to take the water hose to a group of them one day as they sat "oh mying" as I tried to get my horse on a wash rack. Women seem to the the worst. Guys tend to seem to like to teach. Oh well. I just blubder on:') As for my vet. He's cool but he has known me for a long time. My personal doctor there and learning too and I get a lot of encouragement fom him also.
