Howdy! That's a decent bike. I'll have to snap a couple of pictures of my dad's bikes and share.
Back from riding. It was fun and relaxing. The weather here is wonderful, but strange. Spring like. It would be nice, if we are done with winter, but I'm not holding out much hope for that.
I rode Rusty, and even hard to make sweat Rusty broke sweat. As warm as it is and as much winter coat as he has I guess.
Anyone else do anything exciting? Anyone going to be around tonight. Jenny will be here. We're probably going to watch TV, maybe play games with her stepson, Blake, and eat junk:)
Becky
been cleaning guns and making some quick target stands... We're still trying to get out the door to buy bullets to shoot up tomorrow.
Going to be around all night - not about to hit the roads around here on New Year's Eve.
Glad you had a good ride.
Practicing for your trip in June?
Becky
You sound like us. I can't remember the last time we went anywhere for New Year's. Don't want too.
Becky
It will be good practice for that... been awhile since we went... I took ecurbh out shooting on the second day of his visit here to meet me, and that's the last time! A friend called and wanted to go shooting on New Years, so that's as good an excuse as any. :~D
OK - we're out the door, back in a bit.
We get a lot of tourists in over holidays, mostly of the mind set to drink hard and play hard while they are here. That, plus most do not know how to drive in the snow and ice makes getting on the road a dangerous proposition for anyone over 16 :)
I'll be here. Not planning on going anywhere. Does anyone know where Cindy is at?
My daughter and I rode. All the animals around here were acting nutty. Neighbors horses running around, my goats and minis runing around and fighting, my big horses running and bucking. I decided not to take any chances and gave Tuffy and Winnie a half a cc of ace. Really took the edge off. I don't do that very often but I'm always glad when I do it. Some of my neighbors were riding and their horses were acting terrible. They were probably wondering why mine were so good. ;)
I stay as far away from motorcycles as I possibly can. I drive a huge SUV and I'm afraid I wouldn't see them. My brother rides a motorcycle and I hope everyone shows him the same courtesy.
A few months a go I was hauling a horse somewhere and I looked in my side mirror and couldn't figure out what the heck I was seeing, coming up fast in the next lane. As he got closer I could see it was one of those high powered racing motorcycles and he was doing about 90 in a wheelie! Scared the fire out of me. When he came up beside me he was down out of the wheelie and had a huge grin on his face.
It was pretty darn funny.
She's bowing out for awhile. Said she needs a break from the computer and not to worry.
I have forgotten where you live. It almost sounds like an earthquake or bad storm coming in.
Bay was crabbin' at the mares today.... squealing and threatening them and keeping them out of the lean-to. He never does that. ;~D
That is so odd - however the storms in California might be headed north as well as east. Every one here is totally laid back.
I'm in Texas and it's cloudy and windy. Storms moving in on Monday so that was probably it.
