Can't say enough about this book: THE GREATEST COMMUNICATOR: WHAT RONALD REAGAN TAUGHT ME ABOUT POLITICS, LEADERSHIP, AND LIFE. A must read for any Reagan fan.

Couldn't put it down. It's just the right length, and the writing makes it feel like Wirthlin is sitting right in front of you just chatting.

Has anyone read Patti Davis' book? Haven't read it yet, but have heard mixed reviews.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I checked out Patty Davis' book from the library. It wasn't so much a book about her dad, but about her observations, and the experience of the immediate family as Pres. Reagan faded from life. My dad has cancer, and I thought it might provide some comfort or insights in dealing with going through loss. In that sense, it was OK. Frankly, she lost me in the first five pages when she took a swipe at Pres. Bush.
