His name is Tourist Guy, he's been showing up in all kinds of places since 9/11/01.

Was referring to chemical boy not having a clue about tourist guy. 911 Was serious but that didn't stop anyone from posting him atop the WTC. Life goes on, people die, people are born. Benn going on since the beginning of time.

In another thread on here people were joking whether or not the Jews evacuated the area before the tsunami hit like the Arabs said they did before 911.
Then this other FReeper supplied me with the photos, and I put the infamous 'Tourist Guy' in front of a wave.
I thought it was funny anyway, but I shouldn't neglect to mention...I'm sick.

It is funny.
What is not funny how the US has lost 1300 troops enforcing UN directives but few of these countries now begging for help would help us.
Time for new UN.

I think it's funny too. After all, it's not banned. (Yet?)
In a totalitarian society (and maybe some other forums), this type of post could possibly result in awful consequences for KoRn. But the poster #8 who gave the explanation about Tourist Guy is right. We all made it through 9-11, we still shrink from the memory, we saw Tourist Guy pop up everywhere, and most of us laughed a little with all the variety of attempts to surprise with ingenuity.
Disaster for others at distant parts of the globe is no different; it's still disaster. We feel the horror of the tsunami too, and we decide what to do, or do nothing.
But we also know through experience that some silliness in face of disaster helps reconcile our feelings and our own survival, which ultimately faces mortality, in the end.

I was in no way intending any disrespect to anyone who lost their lives over there. It was a terrible event. This is the worst thing to happen since 911, and the 'Tourist Guy' just seemed fitting. The idea for this came from another thread where another FReeper and I were musing about the idea.
He sent me the pics, and I put it together in my first photoshop 'attempt' lol.
