well you pay for the convenience. i am not inclined to buy something by the case and go through all the rigamarole that it takes to get it cleaned and packaged for use. that is what i pay for. i will buy oven stuffers, but that is the only type of boned chicken i buy.
I love oven stuffers. I do not buy whole chickens to cut up - I buy parts. I understand paying for convenience, especially with boneless breast.
I like the versatility of the parts, and I prefer dark meat chicken any way. I've been buying the cases of chicken legs for nearly 20 years, I've got packaging and freezing them down to a science. I was first attracted to it because of price, but then I realized that the chicken I was buying was close to 2 weeks fresher than what I would find in the supermarket. There is a HUGE difference in the taste.
