AKRON, Ohio (AP) Seven people were stabbed in a fight at a birthday party for a 2-year-old girl, and police said Sunday they charged two men with assault. Police called to the party said they found men and women with severe knife wounds, some of them possibly life threatening. One paramedic said the scene looked like a ''blender,'' with blood splattered everywhere.

I suppose that this is what happens when party gifts exceed the recommended age for the child? Either that, or it's pin the tail on the donkey gone horribly wrong...

Undoubtedly Illegals fighting over a misunderstanding when someone said something in English. You think the Vietnamese people involved were here illegally? They generally try to learn English and become citizens. At least that has been my experience, though it is limited.

How insensitive of the local authorities to arrest these fine people, who were merely conducting birthday celebrations according to their cultural mores. We in the USA really need to be more accepting of others' values and customs. Who are we to foist our morality on these poor immigrants?

Maybe this kind of party is an old Vietnamese custom.
