All I'm saying is that winning is all that matters in the end.

Peyton's got a long career ahead of him. It's way too early to discuss his legacy, and predict whether he'll win or not.

But that Marino never won a championship does sort of keep him from being mentioned alongside guys like Montana and Elway, who managed to win Super Bowls, and got it done themselves when their teams needed it.

It is a team thing, true. No one will ever say that Trent Dilfer is comparable to Manning just because he won a Super Bowl behind a dominant defense. But as the 2000 Ravens relied of their D, the Colts need Manning.

But last year, for example, Manning threw 4 INTs in the AFC title game. I don't expect he'll do that in this year's playoffs, but whether or not he delivers when it truly matters are what'll define Manning's career. No won cares if a QB wins MVP if he throws 4 picks in the playoffs.

Your point well taken.

Hopefully the Colt's offensive line will be able to keep the pressure away from Manning--that will help more than anything to keep the interception numbers down.
