Check with www.havlinsales.com for parts and additional information. There's also the "Smallbore Forum" at www.jouster.com that is a great resource - lots of the old Mossberg military training rifles sold through the Civilian Marksmanship Program were discussed there. IIRC, the training rifles all used box magazines and were marked "U.S." The 46B is very similar, but the posters at jouster.com can tell you more.

I have a 44 U.S. model - not the prettiest rifle, but it's also all steel and wood (I think the only plastic part is the trigger guard).

I have several of grandpappy's shotguns and was wanting info on them, but haven't found a decent info site. Anyone know of a site that gives date and value?
