Val, I wasn't a member here before 10/2001, so the airplane crash I'm talking about was after I joined (because I was posting)....and it took off from NY, too (I don't remember the month or year of the crash...except that it was after 10/2001.) (Unless I'm confusing what you're actually talking about with the crash I'm referring to.)

Ahh you are talking about the plane that crashed on a sunny clear morning - just fell out of the sky after take-off.
I think it was a plastics explosive on board ... like what the the shoe bomber was caught with soon afterward.
Swervie insists the tail made of composite material just disintegrated.
We will disagree about this until I am proven right. :)

That was a plane that went down near NYC in October of 2001. It doesn't have near the conspiracy buzz as TWA flight 800. Not many think that was a terrorist act.
