My entire day was rudely rearranged starting at 6 AM when the phone rang. To make a long story short, I ended up having to spend all day at the clinic in Mountain View with one of my foster kids AND her mother. This is the one I have such a bad time dealing with because she stays with this guy that was perping on her kids, then acts confused when we don't engage her too much about getting the kids back. Never mind that I've told her point blank that she ain't getting the kids back as long as he is in anywhere near the picture. I'm still working on compiling his files from other states to try and get the SOB prosecuted. Needless to say, our prosecutor is pretty worthless. About the only people that get convicted of anything around here are the ones that confess.
