My wife got be a cap for Christmas from The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. I like it. BUT, it was made in Communist China!! Say it ain't so Ron!
When it comes to business there is no longer any patriotism in this country.
Yet another useless vanity.
In the unlikely event you could find anything with a "Made in the U.S.A." label, likely the label will have been made in Communist Red China...
Did she buy it direct from the Library, going there in person?
I hope there is a Big Picture strategy to all of this business with China. Are we trying to get them dependant on trade, hoping to instill democracy and capitalism, then pull the rug out from beneath them if need be; all while the Reds build up their arms with all the money?
She ordered it on the internet from their catalog. Actually I was VERY surprised to read the tag.
Sorry if I offended anybody by posting about it.....
I wasn't offended. I just have a suspicion that the official Library contracted the material goods for sale to an outside source who bought the stuff from over seas without giving thought as to who it is representing.
Might let the library know - I bet they would be interested.
I was IN the Nixon library several weeks ago--(GREAT tour). Unfortunately the lobby's knickknacks and memorabilia were nearly all made in China. I bought none.
