PHOENIX, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Rob Gott got the surprise of his life when his wife Tammy-Jo gave him the ultimate gift for the holidays: a free hair transplant that she won for him in an online essay contest at the Hair Loss Learning Center.org (http://www.hairlosslearningcenter.org). The prize of a free hair transplant is being donated by one of America's leading Hair Restoration Physicians, Dr. Scott F. Alexander of Phoenix, Arizona. Tammy-Jo Gott could see how hair loss was wearing heavily on her husband Ron's happiness and decided to enter the contest to describe her husband's plight. "I could see how he was being affected emotionally, physically and socially by his hair loss. He has been using OTC medications for over a year now and he hasn't seen any results."

Dr. Scott Alexander made the generous offer of donating a hair restoration to help people like Ron who were reluctant to do something like this for themselves. Tammy-Jo explained, "We have talked about hair transplants but my husband felt that if we had the extra money it should be used towards bills, mortgage payments and college savings for our two boys."

Tammy-Jo spent weeks researching the possibility of a hair transplant when she came across the Hair Loss Learning Center.org and its in-depth information about the causes of hair loss, hair-loss treatments and hair-loss solutions. The Hair Loss Learning Center.org is sponsored by the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians whose members are committed to empowering patients with multimedia educational resources. Coalition members are carefully reviewed and granted membership based strictly on their high level of integrity, skill, experience, and the quality of their patient results (http://www.regrowhair.com/membership_standards.asp).

Dr. Scott F. Alexander (http://www.hairlosslearningcenter.org/DrDetail.asp?DrID=54) and the other members of the Coalition are dedicated exclusively to hair restoration and perform all microscopically prepared follicular unit and follicular unit extraction procedures. Hair transplants change how people look and feel and can often restore the confidence and joy of life for many suffering from alopecia or hair loss. Hair restoration surgery has become an affordable and permanent solution that is receiving wide acceptance for men and women suffering from hair loss.

I thought it would be a story about a woman that stopped using Nair for Christmas.

My man has a receding hairline. Not bad at all, but it makes him absolutely crazy.

I keep telling him (and telling him) that a bald man can be incredibly sexy, but a man with a combover cannot. Ever. Seriously - look at the difference in Rudy Giuliani since he quit that combover nonsense. Not sexy by any stretch, but he doesn't make me giggle any more.

I beg my man to go bald gracefully, or just shave the stuff right off.

I had mine done almost 2 years ago and no one can tell.

That could be good.

That could be bad.

:)

My motto: Death before comb over!

Maybe it's easy for me to say because I don't have a problem with baldness, but there's something to be said for going bald gracefully. I know plenty of bald or balding men, and it has not stopped them from finding attractive women. The ones who can't have other issues.
