Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The deadliest raid on Coalition forces in Iraq occurred yesterday when a 122mm rocket struck a mess tent in Mosul. Twenty-two people are confirmed dead, including 20 Americans, and 66 are wounded--42 of these were American service members.
The Dow has hit a 3 1/2 year high. Question for the left--who's been President that whole time?
And North Korea is stated to be the only country on Earth free of AIDS, according to a North Korean newspaper, the Pyongyang Time.

Hopefully it'll just be for Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
It's really just my Brother and his gang
And girlchild and her B/F will be staying here.
I think her B/F's family is not much on doing "family" things and he told her he wanted to stay here Christmas Eve.

Yes, he is. 6 people in his "gang".
They are spending the night here because the boypixie specifically requested it.
He called me last night to tell me that I had to call Santa and let him know so he doesn't leave the presents at their house ;-)

A GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE WET MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
Prayers for the love ones of the troops killed and injured in the bombing yesterday, may God be with them in this time of sorrow.
I am hearing all this talk about the roof of the mess hall the rocket hit, a hardened roof would have been better. True it would have been but no kind of roof would have kept the rocket from the destruction it did, it is just another excuse to attack Rumsfield.
Oh yeah, Trent Lott slamming Rummy ain't going off so good here in Mississippi and many here are saying it is sour grapes against Bush for not backing him up in his 'hour of need' when he was kick out of his head position in the Senate.
The kids are going to New Orleans today and d pulled me out some deer steaks for me to cook. She won't eat them but I sure will. I cook them in my ever so faithful crock pot after searing the on the stove, lots of onions, bell pepper, salt and pepper. That is alll I eat is the steak, no veggies at all.
I am off to feed the dogs and cats, do my chores and soon will be gartering my eggs as I am getting ready to build my chicken coop. I want 12 hens and two roosters, Jersey Giants at that.
Prayers for all to have a safe day, a good one, and please don't forget your prayers for our troops, for W and his staff and for all during this wonderful time of the year.

Mmmmmmmmmmm, your dinner sounds good.
I don't remember you having dogs. Are they strays?
I remember you talking a lot about the kittens that have grown into cats by now.
We enjoyed our chickens/roosters and gathering the eggs. They taste so much better than store bought eggs.

What a nice way to spend a snowy day. I haven't baked cookies in a few weeks. I started gaining back my lost weight. I have no will power to walk away from them.

I do have dogs and my cats, three dogs, one neighbors dog who has taken up at our house and 4 cats. I have one cat, a big ole male who chases the dogs instead of the other way around. The cats are now all outside ones, except one, and they have plenty of room to roam here in the country.
