I think throwing the word "liars" around is a bit harsh. Unlike Apple, Dell doesn't pre-build machines, and therefore they usually only list an "expected delivery date", which is affected by a LOT of external factors - i.e. the CPU shortage, which could well be Intel's fault.
Apple builds bunches of machines with identical specs, am I right? It's a totally different scenario.
I have no financial interest in either, just sayin' is all...
