That link is an example of what happens with QuickTime if you don't have it installed. You want to see the trailer, you have to install QT. What you get is a little installer/controller, and that's what you see in the tray on the bottom right. Dialup users discover that controller grabs a file that's several megs in size. And if the connection fails, you still have that dang first piece to always pester you, and the only way to get rid of it is to remove it from the registry.
I absolutely loathe online software installation.
Here's what you'll need to find and remove in the registry. If you're not sure about doing it or how, get someone else to do it.
