I love the fact that everybody is free to their opinion, but geez...why must a thread about a TV show be clogged up with self righteous after self righteous claiming that they haven't seen SNL in 20 years, or some even claiming that they don't even bother watching TV. Good for you!! Great! I don't freakin' care if you do or not. Why are you bothering posting on a TV related thread of you're so above the mighty idiot box?
I actually read the SNL/Limbaugh article, and responded with my thoughts. Do you have a problem that? Just wondering what your posting guidelines are, so I can follow them....LOL
Bottom line, FR is a place to express your opinion, good, silly, bad, or indifferent. That's what's so great about it, and why it's the only site I visit.
If I see a thread I may not like, I just don't click on it. It's that simple, actually. Try to grasp the concept.

Does this mean we can't comment on things we know nothing about?....drats!
Is that really too much to ask?
Actually I guess a more serious question is: "Why do people read threads about TV shows when they don't watch the TV shows that the threads are about?"
I only read this SNL thread because I actually happened to catch the Rush sketch last night. Otherwise it'd be entirely off my radar screen.
More people need to be like me.

To use a line from a FR classic, Airplane, 'damn...you picked a bad day to quit smoking.'
Keep hitting refresh...and wait will someone inevitably posts an article from the Onion. And some here will take it as gospel. Those threads are hilarious.

You are completely wrong. Toilet paper should drop down from the side of the roll toward you, not the one away from you. Even if you have a cat?

It really has gone down hill in recent months? FR has gone downhill since the election, but not for the reasons you cite.
The Mexican and Muslim bashing has gotten out of hand, especially over this weekend.
Screaming for the deportation of American-born citizens because they keep their mouths shut is pretty pathetic.

You think the SNL thing is bad! Try posting anything involving media, religion, evolution, or the Bush Administration. It's like the blind leading the visually challenged.

"Speak only if you can improve upon the silence."
Sounds like a great idea but nobody even knows who the guy was that said this so he must not have been so smart after all or he would have had enough going for him to leverage it into at least a book and then made the rounds of the cable news shows.
Or maybe he didn't have an agent, I didn't think of that. Or maybe his agent wasn't so good, or crooked even and just took his money and didn't do anything for him.
But if he was so smart he should have figured out he was getting ripped off and done something about it. At least that's my opinion.
First they came for the verbs, and I said nothing because verbing weirds language. Then they arrival for the nouns, and I speech nothing because I no verbs.

I saw 2 moose. And some elk. And a Piliated Woodpecker. But I haven't seen SNL, so I didn't read the thread or comment on it.
But I do like to post more than is good for me.

Yeah, it's terrible. I didn't actually read those threads, but I couldn't agree with you more. How dare those people write about something they haven't seen themselves?
Someone should do something. Maybe a vanity post would do the trick.
