Dogs have a soul, but I've got one that doesn't have a brain in his head. (He's good all the same.)

Reminds me of my current dog. He is about as bright as a sack of wet mice, but it is his inherent goofiness that makes him so loveable. I was telling my girlfriend this past weekend, that with their innocence, dogs would absolutely love the Christmas Season and would eagerly await the arrival of Santa with as much glee as any child.

My dog just loved Christmas. Every year I would wrap all his presents in tissue paper and a simple ribbon tied around them and put them under the Christmas tree. On Christmas morning he'd get to "unwrap" his presents (with my help) and he would act just like a puppy. He'd get all excited and play with the new gift frantically until you unwrapped another. I'm really going to miss that this year.
