Queen will tour without their queen?
Actually, I like them, but I wonder if anyone can sing like Mercury did. He had a tremendous voice.

Will they be playing any classic Bad Company songs?

Anything from "10 from 6" will do.

Second that. Freddie may have been a poofter, but that boy could sing.

Paul Rogers has neither the vocal range nor the vocal style to pull off Queen songs.
Nor the necesssary .......flamboyance.
His voice was perfect for Bad Co., however. .....and a great voice it was.

I've often felt that Freddie Mercury had one of the best voices in all of Rock. I can't imagine this new guy making the songs sound the same.

Nor the necesssary .......flamboyance.I always have to laugh at the Queen song "I Want to Break Free." Break free from what, Freddie? You think you were keeping some kind of secret?

Actually, I like them They actually released some decent stuff in the early-mid 70s up through the News of the World album ('77), an album featuring the overplayed and overrated "We Will Rock You" and "We are the Champions" (the former played every two seconds in nearly every sports stadium in the country. ......painful listening).

They'll be just as successful as the Doors sans Morrison.

Gotta give Paul Rodgers kudos. Bad Co had my favorite teenage song, with a line that
really worked: "I take whatever I want, and baby I want
you!"; then, just when you think he's washed up, what was the next thing he did, Power Station? (they sucked but hey, he was still out there); now this.
Filling Freddy Mercury's high-heels won't be easy.
gee, I thought Rodgers liked girls...

Second that. Freddie may have been a poofter, but that boy could sing. Poofter nothing! The man was a flaming queen! And yes, he did rock! Quite!
