Yes, all over Texas (and I would assume, the rest of the U.S. except for the north-east and Kalifornia) there are places called diners, where small town folk gather, talk about crops, weather, the big festival happening the following weekend at church, how outraged they are at the moral decay of American values, etc. The bulk of these people proudly served their country, and wouldn't hesitate to clearly illustrate what they think about the pathetic state of today's youth. If, by chance my truck was in the parking lot, they would see my prominently displayed sticker which speaks to generations of the granola-istas:

SHUT UP HIPPY!

Actually, today's youth are among the most conservative in terms of wanting families, birth rates are the lowest in decades for teens, even sex has dropped. For older Gen X people with families, they spend more time together than a family than their Boomer parents and more and more are even choosing to stay at home instead of work. Young people are also the most pro-life.
