Actually, for a GOOD cup of coffee, made as just the right latte, yeah, I'd pay 6 bucks. When I worked (nominally) at the Pentagon, but really in an outlying office on top of Rosslyn Metro (2 subway stops up from the Pentagon), there was a little espresso shop run by a retired Sergeant Major, which specialized in a concoction known as a Mochaberry. 3 shots espresso, 2 shots chocolate syrup, 2 shots raspberry syrup, one shot vanilla syrup, add steamed milk and foam, then whipped cream on top.

Utterly incredible, and heavily patronized by the Military types in the building and nearby buildings. . .
