I used to frequent a very nice coffee shop downtown after work. The college students were gimmicrats, by and large. My adult peers were interesting, well read and decent sorts. Their political theories were ill-advised, let us say, but some of my caffeinated friends didn't talk politics at all. I didn't let the birkenstockers run me off, and I'm happy to say that over the years I learned a great deal about art and science by talking to the right people. Now, my next post will be hellish and dripping with yellow jacket venom, but there you have it.

Coffee addict?
I bought a home coffee roaster last year and am absolutely spoiled. Even the "fresh roast" at the local coffee house tastes burnt and oxidized now.
These folks get my highest recommendation!
