STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. The Rocky Mountains apparently aren't high enough for eleven people cited for smoking marijuana in a gondola at a Colorado ski resort.
A spokesman for the ski area in Steamboat Springs says the sheriff was called in because of complaints the gondola was filled with smoke and that it reeked of marijuana.
Colorado forbids using ski resort facilities while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
All those cited are 22 years old or younger. They've had their ski passes revoked for two weeks.
Two weeks -- harsh, dude.
"The Rocky Mountains apparently aren't high enough..."
LOL, guess the author just couldn't resist this turn of phrase!
This is because of that John Denver song, isn't it?
Harsh?
I would have zonked the little darlings for the whole season.
There is something repulsive about people generally, young ones particularly, needing to use illegal drugs, and brushing off criticism or laws because it's inconvenient for them.
..."complaints the gondola was filled with smoke..."
Yeah, but man, if pot was legal everything would be great for everyone, like man, you know what I mean....
Was it the local DU chapter having an outing?
11 Stoners Fall Out of Gondola, ski passes revoked.
