You need to go stand in the corner and shake yourself. Oh, and WHY don't you put the flag of your state on your F.R. homepage so you can embarrass your fellow citizens, huh?

Glorifying drug abuse and violence are not values by which I abide. So? I don't think any of us abide by those. So, feel free to move on to a warm fuzzy cuddly thread more to your liking, mmmmkay?

I always liked Quarterbag and Dollarbag better. Dimebag just didn't seem to have the same value as the other guys....

I didn't realize Randy Rhoades was a pilot...

And if you died, what would be your claim to fame? All the bad stuff you did, too? Or maybe it would be, Here Lies Excuse My Bellicosity, he pointed out character issues of Dimebag Darrell. I'm not saying this guy was a saint, but, several of us liked his music, and its something that you don't wanna understand. And as for Randy Rhoads, he wasn't flying the plane, and they never found drugs in his system. But, who is a "good" musician to you? The Stones? Duran Duran? Amy Grant? The Stones got high, Duran Duran had orgies, and to me divorce is wrong and even God says "I hate divorce", but Amy Grant did it.

Randy RhodesYou sir, are not to be excused for being so crass. Randy Rhoads (Mr. Spelling Aerospace Genius)Smoked Winstons, which still happens to be a legal substance. The Bus Driver who drove the Tourbus the entire night from New Orleans to Florida took Randy and the tour hairdresser up for a flight "in a plane he owned" when he pulled into Florida in the morning. Have you seen the graphic photos of the carnage from that accident? I thought not. You just go have a great weekend now, ok?

You probably don't even have the talent to play his music. Legato phrases in guitar are pretty hard to do, and Darrell Abbott did them effortlessly. Dimebag Darrell might not been as famous as Keitch Richards, but Keith Richards probably couldn't learn "Eruption" by Eddie Van Halen by ear. And its easy mention Frank Sinatra as a mile high above the rest, he's the only singer who annunciated every word he sang.

In other words, shut up, Newbie.
There's nothing wrong with what he said. And you're a newbie compared to me so deal with it...
To: politicket
The bottom line is, this newbie comes on here and tells everyone how sick he is of certain types of threads. So, rather than just skip past them, he's gotta come onto them and act like an arrogant, inconsiderate jerk.
If you can't understand that, then you can just feel free to ignore me any time, and I'll return the favor.

How many of us who are really into music (though, admittedly not this dreck portrayed as music) had never even heard of this guy?
Mine is the first hand up.

Ya know, it's pretty easy to look at a thread title, and say to one's self "I'm not really interested in that topic" and then - here's the tricky part - not click on the link.
I can't help it. I have a rare form of OCD that compells me to go on threads I have no interest in and inform everyone that I'm not interested...

Keith Richards also never used/abused narcotics, nor did Frank Sinatra have any connections to the mafia and stayed clean his whole life!

Our young freepers will learn to appreciate real music like the Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra. I wouldn't count on it.

I'm just getting sick of seeing thousands of tribute posts to this person. Then close your eyes and go away. I wasn't a Pantera fan myself, but you're just a plain, old-fashioned jerk. Go rant somewhere else.

Then don't read these threads. You obviously know nothing about the man nor his music -- therefore you have nothing of "value" to contribute.
