My work 'cube' happens to be next to the mens room. I can tell you who washes their hands and who doesn't. The ratio is staggering...I'd say 1 out of 10 men do. Women don't have to touch themselves...me do...grosses me out.

As a man, I try to touch as little as possible in the men's room. Knowing the faucet handles are certain to be dirty, I never use them unless I absolutely have to... and I hate inward-opening doors on public bathrooms. If at all possible, I'll grasp the door by some part other than the handle to get out, or use a paper towel to touch it then throw it away ASAP.

I use my foot to open bathroom doors. I've become an expert. Now that I work in a nursing home as an aide, I touch nothing at all *lol*
