A 30-minute campaign commercial for fetal research, it totally forgot that South Park is supposed to be a comedy. Instead, we got long-winded pontification about how wonderful stem-cell research is.

Oh dear... You sooo missed the point. For crying out loud, Eric talks a pregnant woman who actually wants her baby into killing her infant to save Kenny because she can just make another one.

His only motive is to make money, and only promotes research because he can profit from from all the fetuses he found. And make a Shakeys.

OK - if you don't get that.... Maybe you aren't clear on this. Cartman isn't the hero in South Park, he's the villian. ;~D

No, I get that... Geez, I'm not stupid! But the show did feature about three five-minute monologues on the glory of fetal stem cell research which except for a slight ad-hominem in the last fifteen seconds went unrefuted. Plus, it perpetuated the myth that all stem cell research is fetal stem cell reseach, when adult stem cell research has been much more successful.
