Yes, I have heard her sing (see "Double Fantasy" reference), and artistically, she does nothing for me.

She's carried herself head and shoulders above the entertainment crowd, never seizing the notoriety of her husband's murder to promote herself or some idiotic cause celebre, that I know of. She has remained devoted the memory of John Lennon.

All the Beatles, regardless of their politics, have been nearly models of deference, humility and good manners, by any standards, especially today's.

Yes, I agree. Paul was incredible after 9/11. George was always graceful and witty. Ringo plays music and remains his good-natured self.

I wish other famous rock players would take their cue and lay off of the heavy-handed self-righteous pronouncements to their presumed moral inferiors. I guess that's one reason the Beatles were always so likable, they never took themselves too seriously.

I encourage you to do a Freerepublic search for "Yoko." Make sure to search older articles also. Your opinion may change after doing so.

the beatles are and always will be my favorite group.
i am still crushed that john and george are gone.
alas all things MUST PASS, and i can't IMAGINE where thier music would be today if they had the opportunity to keep creating in this world.
