I saw it on the radio we have some big cat problems. One was find dead with an arrow through it a few days ago, now in the guy's freezer waiting to be stuffed. Multiple sitings in mercer county. I'm in the sticks and heard the dogs going nuts and sounding like there scarred to death at night time and thinking about purchasing a rifle that would take care of one of these critiers if it were to show up. Any ideas anybody and I'll just read for awhile. Thanx

The connection to conservative politics ought to be obvious when cougars start showing up in states (Illinois, Wisconsin...) where they're not 'supposed' to be. Once the cat is 'officially' recognized, then the next step will be calls for increased funding to manage the population which will, of course, be 'threatened', 'protected', etc. The cougars will then be given de-facto title to private property and even more property rights will be eroded. I recall Rush talking extensively about the hiker/ jogger who was killed by a big cat out in California (a number of years ago.)

Nicely said, MG70. There are always a few sticks in the mud who think they could run this forum better than Jim Robinson does. I think his genius is in the fact that he has 14 different topics that can be posted in the main forum here. If this site were only about "conservative issues" it would get pretty boring to me after awhile. I think it's a place where most any issue can be discussed and I like the fact that thoughts come in from all over our country and some other countries as well. Sports stories included.

I can't picture my Cody in a field with sheep. He is such a snuggle boy with me. Plus, as cute as they are when they are pups, there is no way I would be able to leave it alone. LOL
