I got it... the person being interviewed determines what questions to get asked. I'll have to run that by Bill O'Reilly.

The point of the interview is whatever the interviewer wants it to be about.

Jim Gray, and others would have asked him about Target an appropriate question because Tiger's event is a sporting event the last time I checked.

Then maybe again some do not consider golf a sport.
