Al Michaels failed to ask Tiger about the controversy of Target not allowing the Salvation Army kettles and bell ringers at their storefronts.

Maybe some Freepers in the Thousand Oaks, California area can make sure Tiger's feet are held to the fire over this issue during the tournament later this week that runs from Thursday through Sunday at the Sherwood Country Club.

If Tiger could take the heat from the Lib/Feminazis/Race Hustlers during the battle of Augusta he can shrug this off too. Tiger plays golf, he does not play politics. He is not about to let anyone think he can be pushed around now. Don't waste your breath.

Why should he have? It has nothing to do with him. I've always hated it when an interviewer tries to inject tangental issues into an interview.

Tiger is one of those sports/entertainment figures who's wise enough to know when to shut up and swing.

There would have been no purpose at all in Al Michaels asking him about Target. It was a sports interview.

Both Woods and Michaels are classy gentlemen.

I don't think that it is the interviewer's job to broach a subject other than what was being talked about. Tiger plays GOLF, not politics.

Besides, what is he going to say that will make Target change their minds? In a word, nothing.

It isn't Woods' fault that Michaels didn't ask him anything about it. The interview wasn't about Target or the bell ringers.
