There were some funny episodes but also a lot of bad ones.

After a casual totally out of the blue remark attacking a pizza owner for opposing abortion, like he was some kind of monster, I never watched it again.

I never watched it when my son was little. Now I think it's hilarious, and I don't take the political statements or any of the rest of it seriously at all. There are only a couple of episodes I won't watch because they are just too trashy. Most of them I love. I wouldn't watch it with kids around though.

I thought the abortion ones were pretty funny. They weren't a political statement at all. Mostly they just poked fun at the tension.

I also LOVE the Baboo episodes, especially the one where Baboo tells Jerry he is a wonderful person and Jerry thinks to himself, "I am a nice person...my mother WAS right...." Then later Baboo tells him he is a very bad man. Jerry thinks to himself, "Could my mother have been wrong..."

I must have missed that one. I think what finally killed it for me -- in the 3rd or maybe 4th season -- was when I realized a lot of the show's "comedy" had to do with the characters' various forms of creative lying to anyone and everyone, probably even each other.
