The audience too small to count will be gravely disappointed.

The show sucked ass, but I've always liked Mac. I went to high school with his sister-in-law.

McEnroe was a loudmouth liberal weasel. His show sucked. He has no talent off the tennis court. No one will miss him.

The show was more unwatchable than "Donahue".

"McEnroe" failed despite the considerable fame of its host, one of the greatest tennis players of his era. Plus, CNBC was counting on reaching advertisers' coveted audience of young males, who enjoyed McEnroe's reputation for throwing temper tantrums on the tennis court and questioning authority.
This shows the contempt MSM types have for their audiences: Because a tennis player stamps his foot and yells at umpires 20 years ago, people will watch him serve up social and political commentary...
I watched portions of the show a few times (it was impossible to stay with it for more than five minutes). Macenroe was just another middle-aged liberal: As boring and orthodox as Peter Jennings. Whoever approved the concept must have been drinking gallons of koolaid.

I was channel surfing the other night and he had Tom Hanks on - and they were talking politics. I was a bit surprised.

I only saw it once, three weeks ago. McEnroe did a good interview with Tom Hanks, who sounded like a level-headed guy. But it was halfway through the show before I realized the interviewer was McEnroe.

I know that most Freepers are against mercy killings but I thing we should all make an exception here. McEnroe was terrible. If ever a show deserved to die this was the one.
