There are a lot of important life lessons that can be learned from NBC's 'The Apprentice.'
Things like 'passion and desire are key components to sucess' and 'you should never underestimate a competitor' and 'if youre a woman, you can get pretty much get anything you want by acting like a complete whore.'
One thing you cannot get by acting like a whore, though, is respect, and Ivana Ma, a 28 year old 'venture capitalist' from Boston found that out the hard way on last night's episode.
Dont get me wrong, I was as happy as the next guy to see Jennifer and Sandy dressed like a pair of streetwalkers, and happier still to watch Ivana take off her skirt and reveal her skimpy panties.
But it also made me a bit sad. I know, can you believe it? Disappointed by cheap sexual shenanigans that demean an entire gender? I think I must have the fever.
Sandy and Jennifer of the Mosaic team tried a slightly different tatic selling their candy bars on Wall Street in that they dressed like the 'M&M Sisters' which is apparently the new slang term for 'pair of bleached blond sluts who are almost too old to even make this look work.'
And work it they did, by traveling around in a van and preying upon groups of horny construction workers who eagerly bought the bars for $5.00 on the chance that Jen might drop their change and have to bend over and retrieve it.
When Ivana realized what the Mosaic strumpets were doing, her solution was naturally, was to offer to take off her skirt for anyone who paid $20.00 for the chocolate bar. Oh, the savage irony. Two minutes earlier she was saying Jen and Sandy looked like 'strippers from a cheap beer dive in Texas, with peanut shells on the floor.'
Then suddenly, she's flashing her snug fitting girlie panties for all the world to see, in a bid to out trollop the trollops.
When she realized that the long knives were out for her, Ivana finally came to life in the boardroom and had the gall to suggest that the hypereducated Kevin as 'not as smart as her,' and got a verbal spanking from Trump's underling Carolyn for being disrespectful to the Donald.
Ivana backpedaled and backpedaled and did just about everything else aside from dropping her skirt again, but it was to no avail: Trump axed her like a teenaged victim in a horror flick.
I think Kelly will win but this is a weak group of final four.
I loved when Trump said, "I'm not hiring a stripper, you're fired!!" and when Carolyn said, "You weren't selling candy bars when you stripped." Ivana NEVER ever complimented anyone in the boardroom. She always criticised everyone else. I'm glad she's gone!
Sorry, I misread your post. They are cutting two, I'll be amazed if Jen survives, and I'd put 2-1 odds on Sandy going out as well.
When taken as a whole, I think Trump's comments were saying sex sells, don't ignore it, but don't let it be your total focus or the first thiing you always look to.
With that first name, she was gone anyway. You all know it.
Kelly is the clear cut leader on overall competence and professionalism. I would be very surprised if he didn't win. I think Kevin will get 2nd. But, I think Jennifer is a possible darkhorse. She has been a little slow on the uptake at times. But I don't think there is anyone better at defending themselves and keeping their cool in the boardroom than Jennifer. She could sneak in, IMO.
And Andy said he was the 'US Debating Champion at Harvard..' lmao!
Ugh! When did those godawful things become in style? Everyone seems to be wearing them now.
I think the blame goes to Cameron Diaz in "Charlies Angels" and they sure seem to be all the rage.

I think the media still has a line they won't cross...and if they do it's bad news. You can sell sex if it's dressed like Jen and Sandy...They looked nice but still had skirts below their knees or just right above. Ivana, however, was representing the M&M company while pulling off her skirt.
ABC just got in trouble for taking things a little too far with the "strip" show by Nicolette Sheridan. If you have to resort to total disrespect for yourself to get ahead, then you don't have enough in your head to fall back on.
What an incredibly cunning stunt, even though she did get the boot in the end.

But if the girls get fired, that leaves the final two just like last time - a white male versus a black male. And if the white male wins (again) don't you think a few noses might just get bent out of shape? Personally, I don't think Kevin is a really strong candidate. He totally hosed the house remodeling project and escaped and (perhaps its editing) has never really appeared to take charge of anything. Ever since the gay guy won the first "Survivor", I always questioned the PC angle of these reality shows and whether they intentionally keep people around from various demographic groups in order to fish for the broadest audience and keep certain protest groups off their backs. You'll notice you never see fat chicks on these shows - is that because they make bad executives? So, my uninformed guess is Kelly and Sandy will stay.
Jennifer is an attorney and knows how to present her case in the boardroom and otherwise. It's truly what has gotten her this far. As far as presentations go, going out in the public and selling or defending herself, she does excellently well.
CEOs are very good at that and they hire the smart, creative people under them to do the dirty work.
Sandy I believe is really good. She's smart and also knows how to defend herself.
Being a woman, they tend to remember every detail which comes in handy in arguments. Many times, men might be quick and responsive at video games and fighting in wars, but concerning verbal skills, sometimes it takes them a bit longer to gather their thoughts. By the time they do, they've been clobbered by the estrogen group.
I think the final two are going to be Sandy and Kelly.

But it got lost in the hoopla of pulling down her skirt.
I think Trump has been extremely pleased with Sandy. Her wedding dress sale was a huge success. Advertising on the internet was brilliant and her idea. She's got an excellent business sense even without the degree. Bill, the winner last year didn't have the advanced degree either but his experience was more valuable than the education. I believe that's the case for Sandy as well.
Why is it with alllllllllllll his money, DT still has the worst comb-over on TV?
