We have two, count 'em, two Nativity Scenes on public property here in Hicksville. No Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah on the bank signs.

Stars, snowflakes and candy canes on all the lamp posts, too.

Sounds like here!!!!

We were over on Chincoteague for "date time" (yes I got venison) and everything is "Merry Christmas." The island/town CHRISTMAS parade is tomorrow and all the shops and homes on the parade route make a big todo about decorating.

We're going to miss the parade because hubby's boss's annual party is tomorrow, so we'll be up in Delaware. But there are something like 6 more CHRISTMAS parades in the county in the next 2 weeks. the one I really don't want to miss is in the largest town in the county, other than Chincoteague.

At the town limit where the Welcome to Onnancock sign is - there is an Creche, a Menorrah and Santa and Reindeer (at least there was last year)

Anyway - here in this hicksville, we've got the same as you......on both public and private property. we're the ACLU's nightmare.
