A friend of mine is a druggist and told me the most stolen item in a drug store happens to be small condoms..... This may explain the "sizable" loss of small condoms....

In Germany there is no need to have condoms larger than an X Small Slim.

I'm reminded of an old chestnut from WW-II whereby the us was asked to provide a planeload of condoms for the russian soldiers (amongst other things). When the us asked what size, the russians replied "12 inches".
the us sent them - all marked "medium".

True story:
My wife worked for a local chain drug store and was covering a shift in another store. They were changing out the register for the shift change and my wife came out to set up her draw.
Unknown to her, our son had walked in to purchase condoms (he is an adult), he walked up to the register and plopped down his purchase, he looked up and saw his sweet mother staring him in the face.
